Anne A. Madden, Ph.D.
As a microbiologist, Dr. Madden is clear that small things can have a powerful impact. She has applied this belief to projects across her career, inventing patented commercial brewing technology from a microbe in wasps, leading companies that change the dialogue around germs, and working with designers and artists to create compelling exhibits in prestigious galleries and across media outlets.
After more than five years of consulting privately for different groups, and being a leading voice in how to achieve innovative and evidence-based science communication practices she created Imnovate Consulting to house these projects and facilitate building new partnerships.
Whether working one-on-one in workshops, or with diverse groups at leading universities and global corporations, Dr. Madden leverages her background in strategy, industry, science, advanced data analytics and communications— all injected with her creative sense of whimsy—to help build science-related efforts that are meaningful, authentic, compelling, educational, and impactful.
